ARTIST STATEMENT
For this project I created an artwork inspired by talks with David Eddington about the LA River, and I also worked with archiving concepts. I took loose molds from various objects which David Eddington, Da Aie Park, and Won Sil Kim (artists in this exhibition) helped me find and collect during an afternoon walk along the L.A. River in May of this year—around Frogtown in the Elysian Valley, and the Sepulveda Dam area.
